Show TERRITORIAL NEWS. News: As Mr. Wallin was driving along South Temple street this afternoon, his buggy caught against a passing wagon, and he was thrown out violently upon the ground. His head was severely cut and bruised. His horse and vehicle were overturned in the ditch. The accident occurred about two blocks this side of the depot. Ogden Herald: Last Friday, a little girl about six years old, the daughter of Mr. Daniel Morris, who lives on the bench, was descending a flight of stairs, accidentally slipped and fell with great violence, dislocating and terribly fracturing the left collar bone. On Thursday evening, David Beele? Beebe? was brought to Provo. He had been running a lathing machine in American Fork canyon, and while working around the saw his hand came in contact with it, which resulted in fearfully lacerating the fingers and thumb. Dr. Pike was called in attendance and it was found necessary to amputate three of the fingers. On Thursday morning last, a young man named Walter Roach?, of Spanish Fork, met with a severe and serious accident. He started to the canyon for a load of wood; at the mouth of the canyon the train overtook him and the whistle of the locomotive frightened his horses, they ran away throwing him on the running gear and dragging him on the ground, his head and face being cut in a fearful manner. He was taken home and Dr. Pike of Provo sent for, who sewed up this wounds and dressed them. - Enquirer. |
