Show Bread Hade from Unground Wheat. We have heen so long accustomed tq eating bread made from flour that the thought of bread without flour seems absurd. But tho Germans have discovered discov-ered a way of making bread directly from wheat as It comes from the husk. After the wheat has been thoroughly sifted and cleaned It is soaked in tepid water for several hours. Then it Is poured Into a machine which mashes It into a pusto. Then It Is shaped Into loaves and baked. This bread, called "nntlsplre," is very brown and palatable, pala-table, and it Is said that It never gets moldy and will remain fresh for many duya. This real wheat bread Is believed be-lieved to lie more nourishing and moro easily digester) than thu ordinary "whlto" bread. |
