Show In the Richfield Advocate of June 24, we find an account of a case of poisoning at a wedding feast, at Fanguitch, Utah, which caused the death of one lady and nearly caused the death of others. It is suspected that a young man named George Davis, who had previously threatened tha life of Elliot Hudson, the bridegroon, was the party who, in connection his mother Mrs Davis and a woman named Best, caused the arsenic to be placed in the beer that was used at the wedding In the Southern Censor the poisoning is denied but in the Advocate Ad-vocate of July 1 it is stoutly maiut-tained maiut-tained by the party who reported the affair, that even tho Doctor Doc-tor had drank some of tho beer and announced that it had been poisoned. If there is any truth in it we hope tho guilty parties will be speedily brought to justic. . |
