W were very thankful that j they kept out of our sight for they 1 did not come to us and we were well satisfied that they did not see us, either, or their curiosity would have brought them to look at us, as tha sight of the Handcarts brought Indians, traders, and all classes o people that were on the plains, to look at the oddity of the outfit, as it was a rarity in very deed, and but few such sights have been witnessed.
