Show SOUTHERN UTAH FREIGHT TRAFFIC Milford, April 6. The freight blockade in southern Utah is now lifted, and all rails, freight and passengers will move on time for the present. The sun has been shining hot for the past three days, drying up the roads very fast, and in most cases they are good. From Rush lake south for twenty miles the roads are still bad, but drying out fast Near Panaca there is a stretch of thirty miles that will be bad for a week. In the event of no falling weatner again soon, all roads in southern Utah and in Nevada covered by traffic from ' Milford, will be in splendid condition. THREE HUNDRED THOUSJIND. A hundred and twenty sheep shearers landed at Black Bock two nights since and by tomorrow morning Milford will be .besieged by about the same number. Just how many "Coyote Bills" there are in this gang remains to be seen. The herds of sheep booked for the first shearing at Milford are coming com-ing in late and obtaining a stand-off stand-off where possible in order to avoid the cold weather that is looked for on about the change of the moon. The Oregon Short Line has made extensive improvements improve-ments and repairs in pens both here and at Black Bock. At these two points they will shear this season nearly 300,000 sheep. NOTES. Milford is soon to have a new school-house and a jaiL The jail will also be a new departure. Heretofore we had no way of locking lock-ing up the rough element whan they were on the warpath. When it was necessary to hod a prisoner, he was either taken to Beaver or held here by guards. With the new jail and au ambitious constable con-stable the city will likely have boarders right along.
