The Argicultural College , Entomologist Ento-mologist is sending out the following follow-ing circular to ' agriculturists ; all over the State, and desires its publication in the News, for general gen-eral information: , .. "The Agricultural Experiment Station of Utah desires to gather information regarding the. most common destructive insect pests of the State. You are . requested to aid us in this work during the coming season. ' ? "The results will be published in the course of next winter, in the form of a bulletin, and distributed among the farmers and fruitgrowers fruitgrow-ers of Utah. "Our object is to present the life histories and habits, so far as known, of the most common injurious injur-ious species, and then suggest the most practical remedies for dealing deal-ing with them. "To facilitate our work, the experiment ex-periment station invites you to tsond to the entomologist any form of insect which, in your opinion, is in any way injurious or beneficial bene-ficial to plants or animals of any kind. "Insects may be sent by mail, in small tin boxes, and should bo marked with the name and address of the sender and accompanied by a letter or postal giving a few words of explanation, such as locality lo-cality where found, plant or animal ani-mal affected, manner of attack, abundance, etc. If possible a portion por-tion of the injured plant should inclosed with the insect, or when this is not practical, sent in a separate sep-arate package.
