The immediate cause, of his death was a surgical operation. Mr Diehl had many enter prises in view for the Uintah reservation which was his great favorite of nil sections. He was a constant advocate of the good things of the rescr-j vatioit and induced maiiv immigrants im-migrants to come and many will yet follow as a result of the good things lie has said for the reservation.
