Show Considerable Money To Be Spent on Road in Indian Canyon Work Will Start at Once According to Engineer R. A. Gillis R. A. Gillis, district road engineer, came over from Price Monday to outline out-line the work to be done In Indian canyon. This work is authorized by the State Road Commission, five thousand thou-sand dollars to be spent in cutting down some of the worst turns. Most of this work will be done in the first ten miles out of Duchesne. Mr. Gillis reported Tuesday that one crew would be put on the job at once. Those who have a family to support and are in need of a job will be given a preference. Men will be employed from Duchesne and vicinity, which means that a good number of our citizens citi-zens that are out of work: will be given a lift over the winter. Mr. Gillis returned to Price Tues-I Tues-I day, but will return the latter part of the week and get the work started. Guy Hollenbeck will have direct charge. |
