Show Outstanding Gardens, Flowers, In Duchesne. Among those of Duchesne who have grown excellent gardens this past year are John Hair, G. S. Bowers, Rulon Larsr-n, Loo Reunion, G. V. Billings, Clifford Mickelson. J. W. Clements and Eric Peterson. Mr. Larseu while growing grow-ing an abundance of peas, lettuce and etc., has specialized in parsnips and onions, both of which he is growing for the local market, Mr. Hair reiwrts that the sale of potatoes, corn, tomatoes, squash, carrots, car-rots, fpets, etc., from his garden near the Strawberry river has netted him between seventy-five and one hundred dollars. Leo Benniou reiorts that the. hall did him little damage and that his excellent crop of celery Ls coming along fine. He also expects to market locally. lo-cally. Mr. Bowers, Billings, Mickelson, Clements and Peterson have had family fam-ily gardens for their own use. They reiwrt the saving and proper dietary insurance of their gardens well worth while. Now is the time to start next years garden. Mr. Bowers has started a big variety of Txrennlal flowers for his next years garden. He is making one of the show places of the community.
