The members of the American Legion and wives had a very enjoyable enjoy-able picnic at the Legion chateau Sunday evening of this week. Titus Jones was struck by lightning Friday afternoon of last week, makiug a hole through the roof and ceiling. After entering the room the lightning struck a wire and was luckily carried out without setting the house on lire. a The Good Deed club of Mt. Emmons Em-mons held its regular meeting at the home of Frances Case Wednesday afternoon of last week. Tho time wa3 spent at sewing and games.
