Melting snow on Baxter pass has au9ed Ir-cm 100 to 200 yards of tbc Uintah Railway company's track to sink so that trains over the pass have 'been discontinued. Mail coming com-ing into the basin over the Uintah Railway via Mack, Colorado, Js being packed across the damaged section of the railway, loaded on cars on this side and brought into Watson. More than 100 men working at the Country Boy, Rector, Rainbow, Bandana and Big Bonanza gilsonitc ; mines near Dragon have heon laid off owing to the railroad being unable un-able to haul out the are. A few truck loads of ore have been shipped cut fcy way of Craig, Colorado. A new track will probably be laid west of the present grade. It is estimated es-timated that from thlry to sixty days will be required to repair the damage to the company's tracks and get trains in operation again. The dosing down of the mines in that section, no doubt, will be a big loss to the owners.
