A delirious buffet supper was served to 28 members. Centering the table was a huge beautifully decorated birthday cake flanked by yellow and blue tapers in crystal candelabra. In-dividual bud vases holding a single red rose centered the small tables. Favors, serving as placecards, were nut cups on gold plates painted by Clay Watson. Various flowering house plants decorated the room. Mrs. Cunliffe, progrum chair-man, honored the past presidents by presenting each of them a lively corsage from the club and read the following tribute: Past presidents always remind me of a poor little last year's toy. That's why once a year .we hon-or them and try to bring them joy. We know their tasks were many. We know they did their best. I'll tell you their names, and you can do the rest. Bernice Laycock was the first. Her job was a big one. But when her term was over, it was a job well done. Yvonne Willey was the next in line. Now her job wasn't small. And when her term was finished, she was praised by one and all. Jane Kastelic was chosen next.
