Show Myton News by Grace Dalglfeish Mr. and Mrs Clyde Wing, former residents of Myton, spent a few days here greeting . old friends. While here, . they were guests at the home of Mrs. Lena Smith. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner were Mr. and Mrs. William McQuilla: of San Pablo, California, who " spent a few days here and also participated in a trip to Vernal and Dinosaur, Colorado to visit other members of the Tanner family. Mrs. McQuillan is a sister of Mrs. Tanner. Mr. and Mrs. Syerl Dennis and family enjoyed a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Dennis and family who came from Centerville. They were joined by Mrs. Mack Pederson of Salt Lake City and her family. Fifteen Myton students were among the 1966 graduation class from Union High School which included Barbara Martin, Jessie Fausett, Janet Abergglen, Susan Abegglen, Linda Ross, Carolyn Uresk, Julene Ross, Stanley Johnson, Kenneth Lamb, Craig Ivie, Jim Hadden, Jerry Allred, Lynn Long, Gerald Deller and Kent Van Tassell. Linda Ross was hostess at a slumber party in her parent's ranch home. Enjoying a jolly night were: Julene Ross, Linda Timothy, Janet Abergglen, q Kathy Timothy and Susan Abergglen. Aberg-glen. A group of explorers were guests at the home of their leader, Larry Ross, Tuesday evening. The group participated partici-pated in the TV program -Driver's Test" and found it very interesting and instructive. They also enjoyed refreshments during the evening. Your correspondent left Saturday to spend the day with Mr. and Mrs,' Charles Miranda in American Fork and also visit the Orem Cemetery. She expects ex-pects to spend Sunday and Monday in Salt Lake City before returning. i Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peterson and three children went to Provo Sunday to spend the Memorial Me-morial Day weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carter. Mr. Peterson is a brother of Mrs. Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Blan-chard Blan-chard and family of Centerville arrived Saturday at the home of Mrs. Blanchard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry, to spend the holiday weekend here and at Flaming Gorge. |
