Show SPRING FEVER HITS ANGLERS Early fishing opportunities are available throughout Utah on waters open to angling on a year-round basis. These waters include both lakes and streams where' cold and warm water fishes may be taken A rash of questions about open waters and a rush of anglers an-glers going to them is common to the first warm days of spring. Since conditions change rapidly rapid-ly during spring, most of the questions are best answered by the local Conservation Officer. Those waters now open to fishing are listed in the 1966 angling proclamation, along with all rules and regulations covering this year's fishing season. sea-son. Popular early season waters include Bear Lake, Lower Bear River, Mantua Reservoir, Utah Lake, Deer Creek, Nine Mile, Minersville, Lake Powell and Flaming Gorge. Fishermen are reminded that the 1965 fishing license is still valid through April 15, 1966. |
