From early season appearances, the present crew is an improvement on last years array. Saturdays victory wras the fourth straight for the 7 boys, who have progressed with surprising rapidity of late, and are out to further add to the prestige of the F-3- F-3- CCC. Starting right from the gun, a flashy and adept forward in the form of Afton Murray, effectively put a thorn in the side of the Bridgeland courtiers. As the second quarter rolled around, the rest of the basketeers acquired the old spirit, and made merry at the expense of the rival camp. Afton Murray was probman on the ably the floor and gave a demonstration that bodes ill for teams in the future. His push shots from the side were hitting the hoop with dazzling consistency. Close behind Murrays sensational performance was the stellar guarding and scoring of Morris Nelson. Morris is a late addition to the squad and ha3 proved to be the necessary cog in the Another defending department. newcomer from Logan also, is Lee McArthur. He is a forward and will also bolster the scoring department. Win Scott and Captain John Prince directed their efforts to rustling the ball, and succeeded commendably. They were aided no little by Lloyd Whitlock who looked particularly good at taking the ball off the bankboard. Perfilie and Milner starred on the forward positions as reserves while Burtosh looked the best at guard when needed. Easton at center, and Kertseh at forward looked the best for Bridgeland. Murray started the scoring with a setup to op:n the game. Reese sank a foul for Bridgeland and then Easton put the losers ahead with a short. This was the only time they had the lead. Murray followed with 3 rapid field goals and the quarter ended 8 to 5 for Yellowstone. Murray had pushed his total to 10 points before his teammates got started, but when they did Nelson and Whitlock added another 10 points in a hurry, the half ended 27 to 7. Prince and Murray started the fireworks in the second half, and were followed by a string of reserves. Mur- F-3- 7 out-standi- SOFT DRINKS CANDIES o, CA-Re- . COZY THEATRE Star Dr. W.W.
