Show 1 I POEMS FROM FARM FAUl CREEK SCHOOL The Flag I The flag was made by Betsy Ross She was never never very cross One day Washington so bold In the bygone days of old Asked Betsy Ross To take a needle and some floss And make a flag of red white and blue For our nation new and true She took her scissors and cut a five pointed star Then she cut a u. red and white bar She stitched them together neat When she finished thirteen stars and the thc field of blue Thirteen bars to represent thirteen thirteen thir thir- teen colonies Then as the nation grew We added stars to the field of blue Until we had forty eight stars Thirteen red and white bars So let us all live true truc To the Red White and Blue AUDREY E.
