Show CORPORAL TANNER COMING. Corporal Tanner, commander In chief of the G. A. It. veterans and his staff will visit Salt Lake on May 10 to attend at-tend tho annual encampment of tho do-partment do-partment of Utah which will bo held In Salt Lako on that date. Colonel Squires of Salt Lake and other G. A. It. men hero are close friends of the famous corporal, who will receive a- hearty welcome hero. A programme of unusual interest is being be-ing prepared for the occasion Including Includ-ing a street parade in which the Grand Army, the soldiers at Fort Douglas, tho veterans of the Spanish war, the National Guard of Utah, and the cadets from the high school and All Hallows college will take part. Tho encampment encamp-ment deliberations will bo held in tho Odd Fellows' building on Market street. In tho evening a banquet will bo held In tho armory hall at C o'clock-, and following tho banquet a public reception re-ception will bo held at tho Commercial Commer-cial club. The committee having this matter in charge represents tho local Grand Army Ar-my posts and tho Commercial club and consists of tho following persons: Hon. Heber M. Wells, Col. M. M. Kalghn, Col.
