Hunt, H left Monday for San Diego, where H she will remain until the arrival of the I Atlantic fleet, to meet her husband, I Lieutenant Bloch, who is on the Hag I ship Connecticut. Mrs. William Ovcrbeck announces ihc engagement of her daughter, Vivian Viv-ian M. Williams, to Wilmar Evans. The date for the marriage has not yet been set, but it is probable that it will take place in early spring. Mrs. Sherman who has been spending spend-ing the past two months with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Cannon, both here and in Ogdcn, has returned with her little daughter to her home in Chicago. Mr. and Mrs. Lew Humphries were at home after January 15, in the Zimmerman apartments. Mrs. Humphries Hum-phries has just reurned from an extended ex-tended trip in the East. t J. W. Houston returned Wednesday, Wednes-day, after spending the holidays in New York with Mrs. Houston and their two daughters, who arc attending attend-ing school there. Mrs. Effic Dean Knappcn returned Wednesday, after spending a month in New York. Her studio in the Tcmpleton block will be opened Thursday, January 16. Miss Mary Kcrwin left Tuesday afternoon for her home in California, after spending two or three months here with Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Cos-Kriff. Cos-Kriff. Mrs. W. A. Ncldcn will return thr bst of the week, after a month spent at Redlands, Cal., with Mrs. Ferry and Mrs. Hancock. Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Child arrived in New York last week from Havana and the City of Mexico, where they spent the holidays. Mrs. E. I. Thorn left last week for San Antonio, Tex., for an extended visit with her daughter, Mrs. New-house. New-house. Tracy entertained en-tertained Tuesday night at a dinner for Mr. and Mrs. Karl A. Scheid. MSss Helen Maynard entertained a few of her girl friends at a bridge tea 011 Tuesday afternoon. The 500 club met Thursday with Mrs. George Savage at her home on Fourth avenue. Miss Willard, the artist, will spend the remainder of the winter in Havana Hava-na and on the southern coast of Cuba. Mrs. Florence K. Woodrufl and Mrs. Karl A. Schcid left Wednesday for a short stay at Chicago. M. K. Parsons .-.nd his daughter, Miss Elsie, are now living at No. 42 Bransford apartments. |
