Show SOCIAL. Miss Edna Duncan, the sweet singer, sing-er, so well known and so much admired ad-mired in Salt Lake, Omaha, Butte and Chicago, sailed from New York for Berlin a few days ago. She will spend a year in the German capital studying study-ing music. Miss Duncan is a daughter of Ed. W. Duncan, the banker, formerly form-erly of Salt Lake, now of Kansas City. Hon. A. II. Tarbet has returned from a visit to the Pacific coast. Mrs. Tarbet and baby boy will remain some time on the coast and arc at present pleasantly located at Rodonda Beach. Miss Mabel Nugent and Mr. William Wil-liam Malin surprised their friends a few days ago by going off to Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho, and being married without with-out saying a word to anybody of their intention. From Pocatcll they went on to Portland and the northwest on a wedding trip. Mits Ethel Rogers and Roy Bourne were married Thursday in the Temple A reception followed in the evening at the home of the bride's parents on Third street. Miss Rogers wore a whito net over silk and carried bride's roses. She was attended by Mrs Valentine Snow as matron of honor, who wore pink over white taffeta The bridesmaids were Miss Rctta Py-pcr, Py-pcr, Miss Rhea Rogers and Miss Gen's Gen-'s i cvievc Douglass of Ogdeiii V. S Valentine acted as best man. The house was profusely decorated. The. dining-room table had a low mound of the flowers with pink satin ribbons rib-bons going from the chandelier to the four corners of the table. There were pink shades on the lights and pink candles at each end of the table. i1" Punch was served in the library by Miss Gladys Rogers and Miss Concll J James.
