Show DEMOCRATIC CALL Tho call for the Democratic state convention Is as follows: To tho Democratic Voters of Utah and All Other Voters Who Believe In tho Application of Democratic Principles Prin-ciples to the Affairs of Government: A Democratic State convention lb hereby called to meet In the Salt Lake theatre In Salt Lake City, Utah, on Thursday, October 4, 190C, at 10 a. m., for tho purpose of nominating a state ticket to bo voted for at tho general election Tuesday, November C, 190G, for tho selection of a State committee; commit-tee; for tho adoption of a platform of party principles, and for the transaction trans-action of such other business as may come properly beforo tho assembly. Ono candidate for judge of tho Supremo Su-premo court and ono candidate for representative rep-resentative In the Sixtieth congress of tho United States will bo selected by this convention. All Democratic voters and all other voters who bellevo In equal and exact justlco to all mon, with special privileges privi-leges for none, aro, without regard to past political affiliations, Invited to participate In tho selection of delegates dele-gates to this state convention. This convention will bo composed of 747 delegates. Tho basis of apportionment apportion-ment agreed upon Is ono delegato for every fifty votes cast for Orlando W. Powers for Congress In 1904, and one delegato for every majc fraction of fifty votes.
