Show I James Pulley Is Called I Funeral service over the remains of H James Pulloy were held In the First H ward Chapel last Tuesday at 2 o'clock. H The stand was tastefully draped in whlto for the occasslon. Goo. H. Rob-H Rob-H lnson of the ward Bishopric conducted H the exercises. I Meeting was opened by the choir sing- ing "Tho Resurrection Day" Prayer was offered by Thomas Featherstonc. I Wm. M. Bromley read a biographical I sketch of deceased's life and character. I James Pulley was a man who threw I his whole energy into everything he I undertook to do, and died as he had lived a true and faithful Latter Day I Saint, bearing witness of tho truthful-I truthful-I ness of the Gospel with his dying words I Deceased had two wives, one of whom I is dead. Both bora him large families. He leaves a numerous posterity to per-I per-I pctuate his name. I Tho speakers were: Wm. M. Brom- I ley, Pros. James H. Clarke, Pres. S. I L. Chlpmnn and John II. Davis, who I all spoke in highest terms of Brother I Pulley's faithfulness and integrity, I both as a neighbor and citizen and as a I servant of the Lord. I Tho choir sang "Nearer My God to I Thee" Benediction was pronounced I by William R. Webb. |
