| Show NOTICE TO contractors BIDS WANTED TO CONSTRUCT CEMENT SIDEWALKS I 1 sealed propos proposals ah addressed to the thoele boele city Couii council cil and endorsed proposals for laying concrete sidewalks will be received by them until 12 noon on the 1st ast day of may 1911 1 each bidder must make personal examination of the location of the sidewalks all bids must be made upon blank forms to be obtained of the city recorder corder tooele thoele utah and must give prices proposed both in writing and figures and must be signed by the bidder with his address each bid is to be by a certified check in the sum of payable to dodele city treasurer said check to be returned to the bidder unless he fail to execute the contract should it be awarded to him the payment of said work will be made in district paving bonds except street crossings which will be paid for in cash A bond for 50 of contract price will be requited for the faithful per firmance for mance of the contract the sureties to b be e sati satisfactory 1 to said tooele city council the person to whom the contract is awarded will be required to appear at the office of the city recorder with the sureties offered by him and execute the contract within six days from the date daie of notification of such award in case of failure or neglect to do so he will be considered as having abandoned it and the check accompanying the jhb proposal shall be forfeited to tooele thoele city all bids will bi be compared on the basis of the engineers estimate of work to be done which is as follows cubit yards of earth and other excavation letof concrete sidewalk square leet feet of concrete driveways or street crossing culverts Cu lverts or flum s 5 trees removed these quantities are approximate only and tooele thoele city expressly reserves the of increasing or diminishing the same plans specifications forms of proposals and contract may be seen at the office of the city recorder tooele thoele utah I 1 the tooele city council reserves the right to reject any and all bids should it deem necessary necessary for the interest of tooele thoele city any bid not made in official lorm form will not be considered by order of the city council of tooele thoele city utah HENRY MARSHALL mayor attest E J ELKINGTON city recorder dated this ath day of april 1911 |
