potato chowder rare pare and cut into blocks two quarts quart of potatoes peel and chop two good sized onions halt half a cup of celery and two tablespoonfuls of parsley put in the bottom of a kettle bettle a layer of pota toes EL a sprinkling of onion and parsley a dusting of salt an and pepper and so on ol until your ingredients are all used add a pint of water coer tightly and cook slowly until the potatoes aro are ten der rub together one tablespoonful of butter buttar and two of flout flour add a pint of milk and stir until boiling add a small teaspoonful ot 0 salt then pour jour over tho the chowder an I 1 serve
