Show LAKE VIEW the secret pal club members met at the home of bernice castagno last week those present were lor raine caldwell Cil dwell florrine warburton melva lee agnes benson emma price dorothy walker elma kees ter louise shields erma matthews aldella green genevieve shields betty castagno and M maxine a x I 1 n e shields games were played prizes were won by melva lee genevieve shields and elma keester refresh ments were served the older ladies of the belief relief so biety met at the home of sis ter emma price last wednesday and surprised her mother mrs mr wynn who recently came from england those present were mary murray adella green elva shields margaet sagers zeila zella mcbride helen woodard mrs robert smith mary agnes shields mary price mrs don shields and blanche blea zard an enjoyable afternoon was spent and refreshments served to all those present sister wynn likes utah and is quite amused at the snow with the weather being so warm she has joined our relief society and we feel good to wel come her among our members irene carlisle helen woodard eva va shields donna Dorma dixon emma prices margaret sh elds visited with the ath ward relief society in tooele thoele and rendered the trio the stranger of gallilee they report the relief society is doing fine the relief society are planning a bazaar for raising funds on our building program it will be held about the 1st of may everyone look forward to the big event A hot su supper will also be served and we need your money try and ca operate and help us build our church the I 1 A held their conjoint program sunday evening A fine program was carried out proving the three phases of the MIA theme the ladies double trio sang the king of glory mr J johnson sang two solos trees and the lords prayer mrs matthews and mrs leonard sang oft olf my father floyd whipple son of bishop whipple is visiting at home he is serving in the coast guard and is stationed at eureka california he has a 10 day furlough mr and mrs gene castagno have moved to ophir to engage in farming and ranch work but still continue to come to our church services and social activities mrs melvin shields is feeling very much better and able to go to meeting and social affairs again helen woodard jerry green and kenneth fredrickson went to roos evelt friday to visit with jerrys mother mrs evelyn green who has a nice farm and home there they are engaged in farm and dairy work the children enjoy school there they had a very en time and returned sunday evening don shields dewey whipple harvey shields and fred jensen attended the general priesthood meeting monday evening in salt lake mrs blame blaine carlisle has her niece miss margaret ellen horsley from salt lake city as a guest this week legrande randall and john mccoy students at the U S A in logan spent the weekend visiting their parents in this city |
