| Show d J C s to sponsor F famed piano team april 22 duo pianists helene druke and walter shaw will make their sec see ond bow for music lovers and oth ers of tooele thoele at the high school thursday april 22 sponsored by the junior chamber of commerce helene druke ad walter shaw I 1 are american born artists she is a native of silt salt lake he was born in pittsburgh it was as fellow stu dents at the juilliard guilliard Ju illiard school of music in new york city that these young artists met both were pupils of two eminent pianists and teach ers miss lonny epstein and mrs carl friedberg before and during their studies at julliard they ap feared in numerous recitals as solo artists with great success miss druke s c career also included euro study after their first two piano con cert in salt lake city a year and a half ago miss druke had little trouble persuading her husband to make this their permanent resi dence the quiet charm and beauty of this city plus the friendliness of its inhabitants was very avit ing after the hustle and bustle of new york it has proved the ideal place for living and studying be tween tours they can always be found at their murray home which has three pianos that are utilized for se as wel well as two piano study |
