Show our HP news THE STORK was busy again this week he did a repeat job with five baby girls arriving and one boy so we officially welcome the new arrivals and extend our warm congratulations to the parents mr and mrs kenneth L thomas too ele daughter born september 7 mrs and mrs robert A hills too I 1 ele daughter born september 11 mr and mrs coy L colby TOD park daughter born september 11 mr and mrs frank 0 fisher of grantsville Grants ville daughter born sept ember 11 col and mrs leo H heintz tooele thoele ordnance depot a daughter born september 11 cap tain and mrs merle L herbig too ele ordnance depot son bom born on september 11 mothers are such interesting people lets step back into the life of this young mother mrs coy L colby she s a lovely english war bride a former reside rit of manchester england during the war mrs colby worked in the N A F F that is an organization similar to burred cross one day on her way home she stopped at a station and there she met her pres ent husband mr colby at that time was in the air cofas later they were married in eng land and on nov 4 1944 their daughter zaha zalia was born S she he is now two years old in 1945 her hus band sailed for america A year later she and her small daugh ter zaha zalia landed in salt lake on april 13 on september 11 a I 1 cablegram was sent to grand mo ther mrs cathrine duck an bouncing noun cing the birth of a second daughter at the tooele thoele general hospital mrs frank fisher is another in terest te resting mg mother she and mr fisher are former residents of roanoke virg nia ma they came to grantsville Grants ville october 1943 to visit mrs fisher s two sisters mrs geo rge millward and mrs marvin bar rus and also to go through the temple so pleased were they with the beautiful state of utah that they decided to make a home in grantsville Grants ville along with a brother who had decided to make this his home also the following april another sister louise came out she found employment here and also decided to make this her home later she married pharis millward a son of mr and mrs clyde williams of grantsville Grants ville I 1 then in october 1945 mrs fish er s mother and father mr and mrs W G christensen arrived for a six months visit to go through the temple and have their family temple work accomplished the brother grant christley married miss mignon palmer a daughter of mr and mrs richard palmer of grantsville Grants ville mr and mrs fisher have three children larry 5 years lance 2 and a half years and the new baby nancy they were married in 1941 in roanoke virginia mr fisher is employed at TOD and mighty proud of the new baby miss shirley scott left for lo 10 gan this week to register for her freshman year at the she was accompanied by her parents mr and mrs glenn scott mr scott is manager of our local safeway store |
