Show - - I Youth Group Conducts Interesting Crusade Hero By Steve Stout The next time you hear anybody say that God is dead, just refer them to anybody any-body who attended the revival re-vival held at the First Bap-itst Bap-itst Church from August 15-20. 15-20. Because those who attended at-tended have unquestionable, living proof, that God is alive and doing very well in Moab, Utah. It wasn't any typical revival. re-vival. The revival was conducted con-ducted by a youth group from El Paso, Texas, and was aimed at the youth of Moab. The evangelistic messages mes-sages were brought by a very f.ne man named Bozie Full-erton, Full-erton, who hails from Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. Bozie was accompanied ac-companied by a Marine corporal cor-poral named Dave Connors. Dave is gifted with having one of the most beautitul bass voices in the country and sang in each service. With denomination thrown aside, these kids went through town talking to anybody any-body and everybody about Christ. They had no intentions inten-tions of converting anybody to any religion, but their main concern wasi making people aware, of Jesus Christ ana what He can do for you. As was said, it was no typical typ-ical revival. Every night the crowds were enlarged by curious people. But when they left all curiosity was quelled and they left with a lesson that they'll remembo for lite. There were many straim but delightful ipS that abounded during that week. Its not everyday that a person wants baptised bad enough that at 11:00 in (j," p evening he is taken to the 1 river for an honest-to-good ness, pure baptism. Saturday's services were filled with the poWer of (, Lord. There was no mistake about it. Why? Well, why else would the lights go out dur ing an invitation to meet Christ? A simple power fail ure because of the storm ' Well, was it? Think about it |
