Show Teens Injured In Accident South of Town Four Moab teenagers were injured in an accident which occurred Sept. 20 at about 10:30 p.m. 7 miles south of Moab at the intersection of the Pack Creek road and Highway 163. Julie Peterson. 16. driving, was westbound on the Pack Creek road approaching the highway, and failed to stop for a stop sign. The vehicle went across the intersection, and on across the roadway, coming to rest on the west side of the road, according to Highway Patrol Trooper John Kimball. In the vehicle were Bruce Johnson. 18; Michael Bastian, 18; and Robin Larsen, 17, all of Moab. They were taken to Allen Memorial Hospital by the ambulance, where they were treated and released. The vehicle did not roll, according to Trooper Kimball, arid sustained only minor damages of less than S200. Citations are pending. |
