Show Peterson Ford Opens Agency Doors At Moab South Main Location Beginning this week" Moab has a new Ford dealership, Peterson Ford which is located lo-cated in the same building trom which Canyonlands Ford was formerly operated. Dealer for Ford products and service in the area will be Keith Peterson who comes to Moab from California where he was involved in auto sales for more than 15 years. Mr. Peterson was a district Ford field manager in Los Angeles area for six years and was then a partner part-ner in a Ford dealership in Encinitas, Calif, for 11 years. Other business dealings included in-cluded a used car dealership for two years and just prior to moving to Moab, Mr. Peterson Pet-erson was a general manager for a Dodge dealership in Escondido, Calif. He is a graduate of Southern Calit. University and has two sons age 10 and 14 and one daughter daught-er age 12. WorRing with Mr. Peterson will be Connie Caouette, a former Moab resident who worked with Mr Peterson for a number of years in Calif. Mr. Caouette operated the Cnr.Siensen Ford dealership in Moab for three years and then purchased the Credit Bureau here which he ran for two years before moving to California in 1964. He will serve the new Peterson Foid as sales manager. Specializing in "after sales service" Pe.ierson Ford hopes to bring about friendship with the dealership after the sa!e of a new or used car. The service ser-vice department of Peterson lord will be open this week wi.h Eldon Ray in charge as service and parts manager. Actual sales of cars should begin early next week. Residents Resi-dents are invited to drop in to the new dealership and get acquainted with the stalf of the new business. |
