Eight new teachers will be entering the local school system this year. Compared Compar-ed to previous years, this number is low. Turnover last year was down, and ewer teachers will be required, re-quired, due to drops in enrollment en-rollment experienced during dur-ing the past school year. It is expected that enrollment enroll-ment at the beginning of school will be near the 1S50 to 1900 mark. A number of curriculum changes will be made this year, mainly involving the opening of the new Moab Aia Vocational Center. Although completion of the new facility has beet delayed somewhat, -district officials are planning the most eomprehnesive vocational voca-tional education program ever offerfed locally. The program will be designed for school-age personnel, as well as for adults. |
