Show Highway Patrol Investigates Two Accidents Two accidents during the past week were investigated by Trooper Ron Wood of the Utah Highway Patrol. The first accident occurred over the weekend when Dome-nick Dome-nick Oliveto, 51, driving a 1970 Ford Econoline lost control con-trol of his vehicle on a rain-slick rain-slick highway and left the highway rolling over on the west side of the road. The accident occurred about 10 miles south of Crescent Jet. on US 163. Mr. Oliveto sustained sus-tained a broken collarbone in the incident and was taken to Price for treatment. Damages Dam-ages of about $400 were listed list-ed to the car, and Oliveto was cited for speed to fast for existing conditions. The second accident occurred occur-red on Monday, November 6, about six miles south of Moab on US 163, when Letha A. Sedinfeld, 70, of Grand Jet., Colorado reached down to get a sandwich which was on the seat of the car. She lost control of the auto and went off the west shoulder of the road which caused the car to spin around and finally go off the east side of the road before rolling over. There were no injuries and no citations cita-tions were issued. |
