Show Members Open New Year on School Board The Grand County School Board met Monday and newly new-ly elected members took the oath of office before beginning begin-ning the year's business. Taking the oath were J. G. Pinkerton, reelected to his second four year term, and Earl (Bud) Blank, who was elected from District Four. Mr. Pinkerton was again named president of the school board; and member, Mrs. Marge Tomsic, was elected vice president. Elmer Drav-age Drav-age was appointed to a two-year two-year term as clerk of the board. The audit report was given giv-en by CPA E. J. Claus, and accepted by the board. It was announced by Superintendent Superin-tendent C. Robert Sundwall that new lockers at the Junior Jun-ior High had been installed and are now in use. He reported re-ported on the fencing project, proj-ect, which is well underway. Assistant Superintendent, Bill Meador informed the board that a new fourth grade teacher had been hired hir-ed for Southeast Elementary School. |
