Show Cfy Court Ncvs . . . Ronald Inskecp appeared in City Court on March 3 on a charge of driving during revocation. revo-cation. He entered a plea of guilty to that charge, was sentenced to pay a fine of $200 and was placed on probation for 6 months. If he is found guilty of driving during revocation revo-cation in the time of his probation, he must serve a minimum of 10 days in jail. Also on the 3rd, Russell Stahlman, of Kansas, was found gui'ty on charges of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. acci-dent. Stahlman was sentenced to pay fines of $250 for DWI and $50 for leaving the scene and in default of payment, to serve 60 days in jail. On March 4, Roger Howard pled guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated and I was sentenced to pay a fine of ' $200 for that charge and to serve a jail sentence of 40 days. The jail sentence was suspended on successful completion com-pletion of 6 months probation. An Egnar, Colo, man, Clyde Goforth, also appeared March 4 in a jury trial on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Mr. Harry Snow served as defense de-fense attorney, with Mr. Bill Benge representing the State of Utah. After all evidence had been presented, the resting rest-ing of prosecution and defense cases, and instruction of the jury, the jury deliberated and returned a verdict of guilty as charged. Mr. Goforth was sentenced to serve 50 days in jail. Donnie Birch appeared before be-fore the court on March 7 on the charge of producing a controlled substance. A motion mo-tion was made by the acting city attorney to reduce the charge to a Class-B misdemeanor, misde-meanor, possession of a controlled con-trolled substance, and Birch entered a plea of guilty to that charge. He was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail and a probation of one year. Terms of his probation included returning re-turning to Wyoming to live with his parents for not less than one year and paying debts owed to Miller's and Gamble's before leaving. The jail sentence was suspended upon successful completion of the terms of his probation. In the court on March 8, Danny Langstaff of La Sal, Ut. appeared on a charge of driving while intoxicated. On motion of the acting city prosecutor, pros-ecutor, this charge was reduced redu-ced to rf ''less driving and Langstaff pleaded guilty. He was reqir ed to pay a $150 fine with . no day jail sentence sen-tence to erved in default of pymeiiL. On Wed., March 9. Dallas Hunaker of Moab pled guilty to a charge of driving while intoxicated. Hunsaker was sentenced to pay a fine $200 with a 40 day jail sentence suspended upon successful completion of 6 months probation. |
