Show Visitor increases in some cases over 300 per cent were listed in all areas of the Canyonlands national park complex during the month of February, according to figures released this week. Leading the list of increases was the Maze section of Canyonlands, where rangers reported a 312 per cent increase, 67 visitors compared to only 16 during the same month a year ago. In numbers of people, however, Arches National Park, with 8,259 visitors during the month compared to 4,701 last February, attracted most visitor interest, with February's mild weather a big contrib- uting faetur.
