Show Winter quarter figures released by SUCCE As of February 10, 1978 SUCCE Winter Quarter classes and enrollments appear to have stabilized sufficiently for evaluation. With some students yet to be registered, the SUCCE Winter Win-ter Quarter program includes a total of 28 individual Utah State University courses in session in Price, Moab, Mont-icello, Mont-icello, and San Carlos, Arizona. Ari-zona. In all, 17 University academic aca-demic departments of instruc- tion are represented in the Winter Quarter program. The final count of registrations ' does not include approximately approximate-ly 25 students whose names appear on class rosters but whose registrations have not been finalized, and who will be dropped from those rosters next week. Total number of registrations registra-tions in all classes is 360. Of that number approximately 319 are credit registrations, with the remaining 41 electing no-credit status, or enrollment enroll-ment in no-credit classes. The distribution between under-graduate and graduate level coursework is very near the norm for the SUCCE program (i.e. 81 of registrations registra-tions are in under graduate work, with the remaining 19 at the graduate level.) However, within the undergraduate under-graduate area, the normal 50-50 split between lower and upper division coursework shifted this quarter in favor of the lower division, with nearly near-ly 70 of all under-graduate work confined to lower division divi-sion coursework, leaving the remaining 30 in the upper division. The total number of credit hours being generated by all Winter Quarter students is 1,090. This is 233 above the Fall Quarter tally of 857 credit hours. Average class size this quarter in all in-session classes is 12.9 students per class. |
