! : : : Lond Board Acts on Area Matters The State Land Board meeting Feb. 24 in Logan acted on three matters affecting af-fecting Grand and Emery counties. It agreed to lease 27 acres of state land east of Green River in Grand County to Mrs. James Anderson, An-derson, Green River, for $400 a year. The board granted a lease to John Adams, Moab, Mo-ab, on 80 acres of state land northeast of Moab for construction of houses in a sandstone cliff. Adams Ad-ams is to pay $1.50 an acre ac-re per year plus 20 per cent royalty on rentals Adams Ad-ams may collect on homes he may develop. The board declined to select certain lands along Mill Creek near Moab for sale to Arthur Shumway and Karl Tangren. These would be adjoining a possible pos-sible reclamation development.
