Show Deer Permit Applications Accepted Now Hunters planning to apply for one of the 3C50 deer control con-trol permits available this season may now apply by mail to tihe proper deer permit per-mit sales office. Full application appli-cation procedures are outlined out-lined in the 1969 Deer Proclamation. Pro-clamation. Applications will be accepted accept-ed until 5:00 p.m., August 18. If applications exceed the number of permits available, a public drawing will be helu on August 22. Deer proclamations list the type of control permit available, the area open to hunting, the season dates and the deer permit sales office where applications are to be mailed. Applications for a deer hunting license and a control con-trol pormi't may be made at the same lime, but no refunds will be made for the license if the applicant is unsuccessful unsuccess-ful in obtaining a control permit. Control permits are $5 for residents and $7 far nonresidents. nonresi-dents. Each hunter is allowed allow-ed only one control permit. No more than six applications applica-tions for control permits per envelope will be accepted. Archery deer permits will go on sale August 11 and will remain on sale until the close of the season. Fee for the archery permit is $5 for both residents and nonresidents. The archery permit is considered in the same category as control permits and so a hunler may only obtain either the control con-trol permit or the archery permit. |
