Show Sierra Club, Power Company Officials Met in Wayne Forty five members of the Sierra Club and fourteen members of the Board of Directors for Intermountain Power Project met early Sunday morning at the Rim Rock Motel. Torrev. to begin a tour of lPI' s proposed site for a coal powered generating plant to be built 17 miles northwest of Hanksville. The plant, when built, will supply electric power to some 25 communities in Utah as well as California cities of Anaheim. Ana-heim. Burbank. Glendale. Los Angeles. Pasadena and Riverside. River-side. The Southwest Regional Conservation Committee of the Sierra Club was made up of members from Utah, Colorado. Colo-rado. Arizona and New Mexico and headed by Ruth Krcar, Southwest Regional Vice-President. Vice-President. John McComb. Washington Representative from D C. and Paul Salisbury.
