Club Thanks Community For Halloween Giving The Pathfinder Club of the Seventh-day Adventist Church has issued a thank you to the community for so generously opeing their hearts and cupboards cup-boards during the annual Treats-for-the-Needy campaign cam-paign held recently. Donated were hundreds of cans of food and $32. The money will be used to purchase fresh produce and dairy products to place in the food baskets to be given to needy and deserving families for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christ-mas. The club also expressed a special big thank you to Mr. Ralph Miller, Jr., of Miller's Super Market for donating over $120 worth of merchandise merchan-dise to be added to that donated by the community. In addition to the food items, a truck load of clothing was also donated. The extra clothing items which are not needed in this community will be taken to Monument Valley to be distributed among the Indian families there. |
