Show Symphony Here AJexf Week The Utah Symphony Orchestra will play a concert in Moab on Friday, March 11 at 8 p.m. in the high school, under the sponsorship of the SE Utah Fine Arts Guild. Tickets at $3,50 each will be on sale next week at The Times-Independent, KURA Radio, and the High Desert Gift Shop. All students will be admitted free of charge, however, parents are urged to bring only those children who are old enough to sit still. Featured work of the evening will be Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B-flat ; Major, with Associate Conductor Ar-dean Ar-dean W. Watts at the podium. A Trumpet Voluntary by Purcell, Grieg's Symphonic Dances Nos. 1 and 4, Bizet's Carmen Suite, and Variations and Fugue on a Theme of Purcell, by Britten will round out the program. The Art Guild board of directors notes that in order to underwrite the symphony performance this year, ads are being sold for an expanded program book.
