Show C.l.E.P Tests Scheduled By S.U.C.C.E. in Moab The Southeastern I'tah 1 Center for Continuing Education has arranged to have the C.L.E.P. test I given in Moab on April 19. 1975. The examina-1 examina-1 tion will be conducted J beginning at 8:00 a.m. ! April 19 in the Grand County High School. Registration for the College Level Examination Examina-tion Program Exam will be held at the SLCCE Office, 45 E. Center in Moab and at Grand County Coun-ty High School. Deadline for registration is April 16. 1975. u The General Exam is in 5 parts, each part co-" co-" vering a different subject matter area, (ie-Math, "English, Social Science History. Natural Science and Humanities). The student may elect to take onlv those parts of the lexam he wishes. The fee Lis $15.00 for any one exam section and S30.00 -for two to five exam sec-1 sec-1 'tions. The C.L.E.P. Exam is intended primarily for high school seniors, who intend to enter college in the near future, as well as those who have completed com-pleted some college work but have not previously taken the C.L.E.P. exam. ex-am. The exam is not a requirement for college, entrance, but candidates who score well on the C.L.E.P. can achievead-vanced achievead-vanced standing in college col-lege before attending. In cases where a student has successfully completed the C.L.E.P. exam, it can shorten the time normally nor-mally necessary to complete com-plete many of his or her general education lower division college requirements. require-ments. For example, a maximum of 48 hours of college credit can be earned on the exam toward to-ward graduation from Utah State University. |
