Paul L. Howard, BLM state director for Utah, said that meetings on the proposed plan were held throughout Utah in January Jan-uary and public comments were received until Feb. 28. Simultaneously, additional ad-ditional studies were made by the bureau. BLM district administrative admini-strative offices would be located at Salt Lake City, Cedar City, Richfield,' and Price, where key centers cen-ters for other federal and state agencies already exist. BLM services in the communities of Fillmore, Fill-more, Kanab, Monticello, and Vernal would be continued con-tinued through the area management offices to be located in those towns. The meetings will be conducted by a Department Depart-ment of the Interior Administrative Ad-ministrative law judge for the purpose of allowing interested parties to comment on the state di-rector's di-rector's recommendation. recommenda-tion.
