Attending the reception from Hanksville were Mr. and Mrs. La Naic Albrccht, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Albrccht. Ms. Rita Ekkcr, Donna Albrccht. From Lua ana oicncn were Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jones and son. John, Mr. and Mrs. Sherwood Albrccht, Mr. and Mrs. Lane Elicit, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Torgcrson. Ben Pace and Gordon Mor-rcll Mor-rcll of Loa arc employed here in Hanksville. Ben is driving ore trucks for Butch Bullard and Gordon is employed at Energy Fuels buying station south of town. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Rob-ison Rob-ison and son, Jeremy, visited with the Phil Morrill's last week in Tcasdalc. She will undergo under-go the same surgery on the other hip within two weeks. Bracken has completely recovered re-covered from the same surgery sur-gery done several months ago. A petition is being circulated circulat-ed in the community to increase in-crease the number of phones in service. Presently there are five lines with approximately six' persons on each line. Glen, Ted, Riter and Joss Ekker and sister, Gladys May , attended probate hearings in Loa the 12th where their sister, Julia Ekker Ek-ker Cheskaty, was appointed administratrix of their late mother's. Edna Ekker Robi-son, Robi-son, estate. Bruce Ekker arrived from Reno Saturday for several weeks visit to recuperate from recent major surgery with his brothers and families. Mrs. Kim Jackson took her daughter, Stacy Kay, up to Green River Tuesday for medical med-ical attention. She was accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Brenda Sellers and Rita Ekker. The day previous, the girls went to Hite to visit Sybil Ekker. Kay Erickson submitted his resignation to the Wayne County School Board as driver driv-er of the Hanksville bus. Kay has obtained employment at the Energy Fuels buying station. sta-tion. Leon Brinkerhoff drove the bus for several days and now the permanent driver is DcLloyd Curtis of Torrey. Dick and Harold Lloyd of Grand Junction are in the North Wash area of the Henry Mountains drilling uranium properties. They are assisted in this program by Paul Alexander also of Grand Jet. Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Garber and tw o children are in Grand Jet. this week on business. Dirk is the supcrintendant of the F.ncrgy Fuels Ore buying station ten miles south of Hanksville. Harold Blakely and other officials of Nuclear Assurance Corp., Grand Junction. Colo, conducted a field trip Wednesday Wednes-day to various mines operating operat-ing in the Henry Ntountains. |
