Show Provo Executive Speaker At Chamber Meeting "The Day Business Stood Still", a slide pre- sentation made to the Moab Chamber of Commerce Com-merce by Gordon Bullock manager of the Provo Chamber of Commerce, was very well accepted by the Moab members. Mr. Bullock presented the program at the weekly meeting of the Moab group on Tuesday. The presentation was a dramatization dram-atization of problems arising out of the shutdown shut-down of all businesses, including water, gas and electric utilities, as well as other businesses that they serve. Mr. Bullock was rescheduled re-scheduled to speak at the Moab meeting when he was unable to make it to Moab for an earlier engagement. en-gagement. The minutes of last week's meeting were read and approved by Secretary Joyce Murray and President Dixie Barker Bar-ker informed the local members that the Volleyball Volley-ball tournament has had a good success with at least four states showing interest in participating' in the event. As many as 36 teams are hoped for in this tournament. Other business of the Chamber was postponed until next week due to the length of the presentation. |
