Industry and defense activities are on the march in our Inter-mountain Empire. Much of this of course centers in Salt Lake County, and many new homes and the like will be needed to meet the flood of new population. Real estate activity promises to surpass all records, and in realty transfers absolute title is a vir-tual "must" a situation that can be met by an abstract of title undergoing examination by coun-sel experienced in such work. And fortunately in the LeGrand P. Backman Abstract Co., we have a rare combination of these essential qualities. The head of the LeGrand P. Backman Abstract Co., LeGrand P. Backman, Esq., is himself an attorney and the senior member of the well-know- n and highly-regarde- d law firm of Backman. Backman & Clark. The head-quarters of the abstract company, like the offices of the law firm, are in the Zion's Savings Bank Building in Salt Lake City. And you can reach either the law firm or the abstract company by tele-phoning the same number An abstract of title is a com-pilation of data concerning the title to a given piece of real es-tate. To serve its purpose, it must be comprehensive and be compiled with skill by a thor-oughly responsible organization. Also the course of wisdom is to obtain a well-qualifi- legal op-inion as to clarity of title shown. At the headquarters of the Le- Grand P. Backman Abstract Co. these varied essentials are read-ily available to you, to your friends and to newcomers. j Uncle Sam Says j We are living today In the auto-matic ace, the era of automatic home appliances, of gadgets.
