Show Magic show coming to Moab Monday Magic-Capades, the largest lar-gest traveling magic show in the country is coming to Moab on Monday, April 17. The show is sponsored by the Moab Jaycees and will appear at Helen M. Knight Elementary School at 7:30 p.m. The show features Magician Ma-gician Illusionist Dennis Loomis, whose traveling show is loaded with the most baffling mysteries in the world. The show includes a company of five wonder workers and seventeen sev-enteen animals. Loomis works on an empty stage and is aided by two assistants. He gets the show underway with a fast start tricks and productions pro-ductions coming fast and furious. His illusions are presented in a story style, with unique props and settings that are generally fascinating to the audience. audi-ence. Included in the show are The Disappearing Pony, The Sword Cabinet, The Floating Lady and many more. Besides being a master illusionist, Loomis is also a well-known escape artist, ar-tist, a juggler, and a fire eater. He has put twists into Houdini-like escapes to make them more thrilling. At the Jaycee show, in Salt Lake- City, he will escape from a strait jacket while hanging upside up-side down from a crane on the Utah State Capitol building. Children and adults alike will be mystified and amazed as they watch Loomis' routine. The Jaycees Jay-cees urge everyone to come and be wonderfully entertained. The proceeds from the show will go to the Jaycee general fund which supports local proj- j ects such as downtown Christmas lighting, lending lend-ing of hospital beds, wheelchairs, and crutches, crutch-es, and many other worthy programs. . |
