Show Moab Police Investigate Accidents Three accidents were investigated inves-tigated by Moab Police all of them occuring April 24. In the Miller's Super Market parking lot at 1:45 p.m., William McCormick was backing back-ing a 1974 Lincoln Continental. He turned too sharply and hit a 1970 Volkswagon belonging to Florence Hilton, doing about $100 damage to the Hilton vehicle. There were no citations cita-tions as the accident was on private property. At 8:30 p.m. at 160 E. 1st North, Lloyd Scharf was driving a 1974 Bronco and hit a utility pole while pulling into the driveway, doing about $100 damage to the vehicle. He was cited for driving while intoxicated. At 556 So. Main David J. Slama was driving a 1961-Chevrolet 1961-Chevrolet pickup pulling a mobile home, and as 'he was making a left turn into Canyonlands Trailer Park, the trailer was hit by a 1975 Jeep driven by Kent Lynn Gordon, who was driving north. There was about $2,000 damage each to the mobile home and jeep, and Gordon was cited for driving while intoxicated. |
