Show Services Held Monday forMoab Infant Funeral services were held Monday, May 24 for Aaron Kent Dalton, infant son of JoeLynn V. and Arnel Kent Dalton, who was born May 13 and died May 22 of sudden infant death syndrome, in his crib. Survivors include his parents, par-ents, a sister, Stephanie Ann Dalton; grandparents, Wy-nona Wy-nona and Neal K. Dalton, And Delma and Joe Wesley Vancil; great-grandparents, Mrs. Lena Le-na Vancil, Grand Junction, Mr. and Mrs. Delmos Atkinson, Atkin-son, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnel Holyoak. Prior to services the family prayer was led by Thiel Atkinson. Bishop Edward Johnson officiated. A song, "God's Other Room," was sung by Gorald and Bonita Atkinson with Bonita accompanying. accom-panying. Opening prayer was by Richard Bagley. Roberta Knutson and Jean Holyoak sang "Let the Little Children Come," and were accompanied accompan-ied by Debbie Dalton. A talk was given by Doug Farnsworth followed by "I Wonder When He Comes Again," sung by Timmy Nyland and accompanied accompan-ied by Roberta Knutson. Closing prayer was by Jack Stewart and the grave dedication dedica-tion was by Bishop Johnson. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. JOHN YOUNG SERVICES Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Young recently motored to Santa Maria, California where they attended funeral services for Mr. Young's brother, John Young, 72, who passed away from complications following surgery. Mr. Young was formerly of Moab, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alphus Young, pioneers of this area. Mr. Young attended Grand Co. schools and was married to Miss Ina McConkie who survives as do a son and daughter and several grandchildren. grand-children. Other survivors besides Desmond Young, are Mrs. Eliza Cors, Moab, Mrs. Mary Smith of Roosevelt, Utah, a sister, Jessie Young of Salt Lake City. |
