Show Slates All Set for City Nw. 4 Election Deadline for filing for the offices of Mayor and two City Council seats was last Thursday. The final tally of candidates shows that there are four men running fo;1 Mayor and four, running for the two council posts. On the ticket for the Citizens Citi-zens Party are: Arden Johnson; John-son; candidate ' for Mayor; Earl F. (Bud) Blank and J. Ray Hawks contenders for ' 'the "council 'chairs. Running as independents in the race for Mayor are incumbent Winford Bunce," Harold Ja cobs and Richard Parsons. In the contest for the opei Council posts are incumbent Jack West and independent Bob Migliori. The men running for these offices will have an opportunity oppor-tunity to meet and discuss their viewpoints on many of the issues at an "old fash ioned town meeting," sponsored spon-sored by the Woman's Literary Liter-ary Club on Saturday at 2 p.m. All residents of Moab City are reminded tot the final day for registering for the-municipal the-municipal election will ba next Tuesday, Oct. 28. There are some new boundaries this year, and persons should check to make sure they are listed correctly, i District boundaries include: i District No. 1, First West, Second North, Fourth East, south to city boundiaries. Agent Ag-ent is LaPreal Berry, 388 E-. 1st South. District No. 2, which includes in-cludes all the property east of Fourth East and Sou'h of Mill Creek Drive, has as its registration agent, Mrs. Nellie Beyeler of Spanish Valley Drive. Residents of District No. 3, the area south of Fourth North and West of First West, Will register at the home of Dorothy (Todds) Robertson, Ro-bertson, 335 Park Lane. Mrs. Ray Branscom, 491 Cliffview Drive, will register regis-ter District No. 4, which includes in-cludes the area North of Fourth North on the west side of First West; north of . Second North on the east side of First West; as far east as Fourth East and running to the city line north of town. The remaining area of the town located north of Mill Creek Drive and east of Fourth East is District No. 5, which will register at the home of Bessie Beach, 503 East 2nd South. |
