Show Auto Accidents in Moab Area Investigated by Sheriff's Office A 1959 Chevrolet station wagon received about $200 cbma;;e last Saturday evening even-ing when it.s driver, Lee Mc-Farlnnd Mc-Farlnnd of Moab lost control Tlie Moab resident was driv-. ir.g back from Millers 3 Farm and was about a mile lh:s side when he lost control con-trol which was about 10:30 p.m. McFarland was taken to the hospital for observation observa-tion but was soon released. Sheriff W. II. Bowman investigated in-vestigated the accident and cited the driver for not having hav-ing a driver's license and failure to keep the car under un-der control. Another accident occurred earlier Saturday evening at about 7:55 p.m. Mrs. Mike Doud of Moab was driving up Murphy Lane when site lost control of her car on the first major curve. Sh canst d considerable damage to the vi hide amounting to about 'M caused by her car hitting the cliff. Sheriff Bowman Bow-man investigated - the acci. dent. A Frday evening accident occurred at about 4:50 p.m. when Mrs. Marrian Anderson driving a 19G6 Volkswagon Sedan lost control. Mrs. Anderson had just turned from West Center onto on-to First West. She lost control con-trol of the automobile and ran into a car parked at the curb. The parked car belonged belong-ed to Harry 0. Prouty and it was damaged to Uie extent of about $75. The Volkswien driven by Mrs. Anderson received re-ceived approximately $500 worth of damage. She was cited for failure to keep her car under control. Mrs. Anderson An-derson stated she was reaching reach-ing over to pick up a towel from the floor board. Sheriff W. IL Bowman investigaetd the accident. . |
